It really looks like a ghost of itself without tourists flooding the area. After the government decided on a complete lockdown on March 24th 2020, many workers lost their jobs and many shop owners lost their activities because they could not pay the rent of the buildings after tourists stopped entering the country – the government did not support them. Therefore many shops are still closed as the owners of the buildings are either not interested in the commercial activities or do not consider them profitable at the moment.
